12 Random Acts of Christmas Kindess

The Son of Man
did not come to be served,
but to serve,
and to give His life
as a ransom for many.
-Matthew 20:28

Recently, at a Bible study for moms, I was given this wonderful list from www.happyhomefairy.com
and thought you all would enjoy this activity as well. Have fun this Christmas season and remember to tell others about the love of Christ by both your mouth and actions :)

12 Random Acts of Christmas Kindness

1. Find someone that is homeless and bring them a warm blanket, a coffee, giftcard, etc.

2. Drive through a bank teller just to give them
a treat through the vacuum system.

3. Pay the toll for the car behind you.

4. Tape a big sign to the top of your trash can with a small treat for the garbage collectors.

5. Tape a note and $1 to a vending machine.

6. When checking out at the grocery store, ask your cashier what his/her favorite candy is and BUY it for them!

7. Tape quarters to a gumball machine.

8. Make dinner for a single mom or widow.

9. Place a Christmas card on someone's car wishing them a blessed season.

10. Drive around the neighborhood and leave candy canes at the homes decorated with nativities.

11. Sneak an encouraging note in a friend's stocking.

12. Make someone's wish come true...

I looked at this list and am so excited to celebrate Christ's birth and tell others about His love by doing some of these little acts of kindness!

Today my family went out to "commit" a random act of kindness and our victim's name was Gregg from Dollar Tree.

It was such a joy and the dialog was easy...
-ask his favorite candy bar
-put it on the conveyer belt with my stuff
-pay
-tell him that Jesus loves him and that this "gift" was from the Lord!

Such a simple way to share the love of Jesus. And...it was so much fun! There was a lady behind us that was blessed by it as well!

I shop each week for groceries and plan to budget a few dollars to do this fun activity with my kids &  cashier to tell (in a non-threatening way) that Jesus loves them (even when it's not the Christmas Season)!

Pick one of the random acts, go out today with your little ones, and share the love of Christ this CHRISTmas Season!

Watch and see how blessed YOU are by doing this!
