Every time I use Shout, the Laundry Stain Remover spray I
think about Jesus. “Huh?” You may
say. Well if you look on the bottle, it
is made by A Family Company, it’s Triple-Acting, Clings, Penetrates & Lifts.
It’s the Trinity!! And the
message on the handle of the bottle states, “Removes Stains the 1st
Time Guaranteed or it’s free*”. I’m sure
on the bottom of the bottle it must have a Scripture verse about how Jesus’
death on the cross is a free gift to us but it cost Him his life… Actually the asterisk
after “free” leads you to the website where you can find out the “details”.
“And the result of
God’s gracious gift is very different from the result of that one man’s sin.
For Adam’s sin led to condemnation, but God’s free gift leads to our being
made right with God, even though we are guilty of many sins.” Romans 5:16

Since I have a boy who loves mud and a girl who loves to
make messes with her food I use the stain remover spray A LOT. What are the things that you use on a regular
basis that remind you about Jesus? In
these moments of say, cleaning a stain on a shirt, pray for your kids while you
spray, brush/scrub, rinse. Pray for
their salvation, for their future mate, pray for them to be forgiving toward
others…
