Give
praise to the Lord, proclaim
His name; make known among the nations what He has done. (Psalm 105:1)
What He has done….
Make it known…
My opportunity to speak to nations has yet to come…ha..ha…
but each day I have the opportunity to speak with a small part of this nation,
in my home, around my kitchen table.
Each day as we sit around that table we eat meals, study
history, and do math, science and language arts. But something more happens there
everyday. That something is the best
part of my day. It’s when praise is
given to the Lord, when His name is proclaimed, when what He has done is being
shared or I see the evidence of His work in the heart of my children.
There always seems to be an emphasis on praising our
children. I encourage you today to
praise the Lord, proclaim His name, and make it known what He has done.
Look for ways to build your children up in the Lord, instead
of self. When you see evidence of the
Lord at work in their hearts take a moment to stop and praise the Lord and
point it out to your child.
