Transparency=Ministry Opportunities

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.
 - 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

This section of scripture has become my life verse as I walk through this tough season of parenting. The beautiful thing about seasons is that they are forever changing, allowing the Lord to pull out something new to ponder, laugh or cry about, and be challenged by.

Every season you are in seems like its the toughest and you wonder if you will ever make it. You will. Learning life lessons along the way, gleaning good stuff you will share with your mommy friends in years to come. Stepping into new seasons realizing the previous one was a piece of cake!

As we walk through the ups and downs of life it is so vital that we share our struggles and victories. As we are transparent, ministry has an opportunity to take root and grow. Many times we are afraid to share about the season we are in, fearing judgement as we cling to our pride. But when we do let go and share, it is such a refreshing experience because many times you realize you are not alone. Others, too, have experienced the crazies you have. Remember God wants to do a work in and through the season you walk.

Pray that the Lord brings people in your path you can encourage with the road you have traveled. Look at this season and seek to find Truth weaved in through it.

Be transparent and watch what HE does with it!
