Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you. Wisdom is supreme; therefore, get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding. - Proverbs 4:6-7
Occasionally, a friend of mine will recommend a great parenting book, ask for a recommendation and/or circulate a text with a list of recommended reading for mommies. I'd like to share a few that have been recommended to me below and I ask that, if you have any recommendations of your own, that you add to this list in the "Comments" sections so that we might refer back to it when we're ready for a new book. Thanks, friends! And, thanks in advance to those of you who have already recommended the below!
(In no particular order:-)
Don't Make Me Count To Three, by Ginger Plowman
Shepherding A Child's Heart, by Ted Tripp
For Instruction in Righteousness: A Topical Reference Guide for Biblical Child-Training, by Pam Forster (Spiral-bound)
Say Goodbye to Whining, Complaining, and Bad Attitudes... in You and Your Kids, by Scott Turansky, Joanne Miller (Paperback)
*Equipped to Love Idolatry Free Relationships, by Norm Wakefield
*This is not a parenting book, but it has been so highly recommended by several bloggers that I decided to include it as I think it could pertain to loving our kids!
Enjoy, ladies, and please add your recommendations in the comments below. Thank you!
What a great idea my friend! Thanks:)
